When I saw this image, I felt like I had to write something about it, as it actually made sort of an impact on me. Lets see if I can express myself in terms that fully explains my emotions and thoughts about it.

I would like to start with the obvious, which is the way the image is shot and cut. The shot itself has very beautiful colors, and the model herself blends very nicely into her surroundings. The image is cut very nicely, as the model herself is the centerpiece of the image, but I would perhaps like to see it a bit more from afar, and get some more of the natural habitat with it. But for all intents and purposes, the highlight here is clearly the model, so its all well and good. I do love the surroundings, and it works very well with this image.

There has been something of a repetitive thing going in your work that you get the models to display themselves in all sorts of unnatural poses. I think that is somewhat your trademark, and this one is nothing short of that. There is nothing wrong in doing that, as the usual poses might be simply boring in the end, but what one has to take very good care of is how the models are displayed and how the finished work looks. Your biggest critique will always be the model herself, and if she isn't happy, then as a photographer one has failed.

This series of images, which this one naturally belongs to, seems to be one where you are stretching the limit as to "how to get the models into the most embarrassing poses ever". I think maybe that was the point of this whole series, which is very interesting. Usually, models are displayed in very alluring and comfortable poses, which makes for good imagery. But then someone comes along and changes that a bit, which is all for the good of everyone I think. I actually do like the way you think, that "I will create something that will open the eyes of those who watches my work", and that it will create an emotion in the people that views it.

But as an "artist" myself, I would say that things like this doesn't work so well. When shooting a model as gorgeous as this, one wants to bring out the femininity and the beauty in her, which here is almost destroyed by her pose. She looks like she is very comfortable, but in a very different way than you probably intended. I feel that you stretched it a bit too far with this, and that the "shock" it was supposed to create isn't really that great. It's a good try, but overall it doesn't work so well.

I would have loved to see this model in a scenario where her beauty and her femininity is fully displayed, and I think that it would be one of the greatest pictures on deviantArt. She is a stunner, there is no question about that. Hopefully I will see that one day.

But its a good try. I will be following your work, and I hope that I will see this woman again in a scenario that is far better.
