Cerf de Virginie ou chevreuil du Québec.
Cervidé solitaire ou en petit groupe.
Il occupe les forêts feuillus avec conifère et sapinière, les champs, vergers, les bord des cours d'eau, étangs et marécages. Il passe généralement la journée étendu pour se détendre et ruminer.
L'alimentation du chevreuil en saison estivale se compose de champignons, petits fruits, feuille, bout de branche d'arbre et arbuste. Il se nourrit aussi de plantes aquatiques.
Tandis qu'en hiver, il se nourrit de bourgeons de différents arbres, comme le cerisier, le peuplier ou le noisetier, et aussi de lichens sur les roches.

It occupies deciduous forests with conifer and fir forest, fields, orchards, edges of streams, ponds and swamps. He usually spends the day extended to relax and ruminate.
